About 3CR12 Stainless Steel

South African-developed 3CR12 is recognised as the original chromium utility ferritic stainless steel. It offers excellent corrosion resistance and durability. In addition, it provides a practical alternative where mild steel, galvanised steel, aluminium, or pre-painted steel may not perform adequately.

In aggressive atmospheric conditions, surface staining may occur. Therefore, 3CR12 is often sandblasted and coated when appearance is important. Brushed 304 stainless steel components further enhance the premium finish and visual appeal.
